...How-to instructions for the final steps of setting up your website order.

Upgrading your WIX website

There are two ways to connect a domain you already own. By "pointing" or "transferring".

FOR CUSTOMERS WHO ALREADY PURCHASED A DOMAIN. Options 1 and 2.

(**Before you start this step, have your USER NAME AND PASSWORD ready for the holder of your domain account. ( Go Daddy etc..)

You follow up prompts to sign in to that account. It will depend on your domain management choice whether it's a simple connect or a transfer.

1.) FOR KEEPING YOUR DOMAIN SEPARATE

Follow this video if you are CONNECTING A DOMAIN YOU BOUGHT ELSEWHERE ARE KEEPING SEPARATE FROM WIX:

Sometimes customers choose this because domain price is good, but remember to renew subscriptions in two separate accounts or else risk your domain going down.
